A trial of our new app for cancer patients has begun in the Alaw Ward in Yysbyty Gwynedd.

Keep Me Safe is predicated on the notion of ‘safety is always a network’ and co-opts a patient’s friend or family member to participate in monitoring symptoms during cancer treatments.

Later this year a research paper will be released for peer review.

Galactig are working on this exciting project with Dr Chris Subbe and Ysbyty Gwynedd with funding from Tenovus Cancer Care. Follow Dr Subbe on Twitter for more insight into giving patients a voice.

“KeepMeSafe is really exiting: We can link the people who know the patient best into our safety net at the time when they need it most.”
