Sêr Steilio (Style Stars) is a new kids’ TV format from Yeti for S4C feautring juniour stylists. Working to real world briefs, the junior stylists are tasked with creating a variety of looks for different occasions, from the fashionable to the surreal! In the competition the stylists take part in every stage of the styling process – from sketching to stitching – as they create customized pieces to form the final look.
Galactig created a full graphics package for the show including branding, titles, scoreboards, wipes, 3D animated tailors mannequins and other incidental items.
The primary aim was to imbue the visual elements of Sêr Steilio with an electrifying vibrancy, aligning seamlessly with the programme’s spirited content. The use of neon colors and paint splatters was the obvious deliberate choice to resonate with the youthful and creative nature of the show mirroring the messy yet joyous process of crafting imaginative looks undertaken by the young stylists.
